QUALIFICATIONS DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years of age or over, Completed Year 12 (HSC or equivalent)
Minimum of 5.5 IELTS score or equivalent (International students only)
COURSE DURATION
The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is offered over 12 months full time study or 2 years part time.

Students are required to undertake 240 hours or 12 weeks of student work placement during the course.
